Pedro Soley: The Noir Cowboy by Philipp Plein Fall/Winter 2014

Last January 12th, the Alcione Theatre became a Wild West saloon so as to introduce the NOIR COWBOY COLLECTION presented by Philipp Plein. The show was impressive and we all were astonished and open-mouthed.

Wild West, a place to be discovered where there are no rules and everything can happen. In this way, Philip Plein, reproduced in the heart of Milan, the Wild West and it was, without a doubt, the best show in the Milan Fashion Week.

The collection can be defined as strong, virile and passionate.Philipp Plein has done his best to assert his identity and achieve success. He does not forget his origins and looks back on the past to keep one step ahead in the future. He is always in search of new thrills.

The Noir Cowboy Collection plays the starring role in a metropolitan Far West featuring extreme luxury. The main color is black, both shiny and matte and the symbols are crossed six shooters and a "Buffalo skull".

Jackets are presented in exquisite materials, including embellished leathers, and amongst them a stunning ultra soft nappa blazer. Crocrodile is present with a unique version of soft nabuk finish. The effect is ultra-luxurious in the minklined biker jacket. Snakeskin is brushed and painted by hand. A cracked effect bomber jacket is specially handcrafted to appear worn out . An aged effect is also seen in the soaked jeans that hook onto a western cartridge belt handcrafted in crocodile with a snake buckle. The long riding coats that virtually graze ground are also outstanding and make an appearance for showdowns at OK Corral, with pronounced shoulders and arrow-shaped lapels. Coats are also made in wool knit with waistlines accented by leather inserts and made with meticulous attention to detail. Snakeskin lapels are dazzling, edged in leather or encrusted with micro studs in crystallized TM Swarovski elements.

The accessories include a multitude of must-have boots, in particular a version in tumbled leather with crocodile patches, to combine with backpacks, bags and holdalls in all shapes and sizes.

The collection contains everything necessary for the adventures of a contemporary cowboy, and the saga will continue.

El pasado 12 de enero el Teatro Alcione se convirtió en el Salvaje Oeste para dar paso a la colección "Noir Cowboy", presentada por Philipp Plein, con un espectáculo que dejó a todos los que asistimos totalmente asombrados y boquiabiertos.

El Salvaje Oeste, un lugar por descubrir donde no existen normas y todo vale. Así recreó Phillipp Plein, en el corazón de Milán, el Salvaje Oeste y fue sin duda el mejor show de toda la Semana de la Moda de Hombre.

Caballos, tiroteos y auténticos vaqueros desfilaron con las nuevas propuestas para el próximo invierno 2014-2015.

La colección se define por su fuerza, virilidad y apasionamiento. Philipp Plein ha dado lo mejor para reafirmar su identidad y alcanzar el éxito. Plein no olvida sus orígenes y echa la vista a atrás para dar un paso hacia el futuro, siempre en busca de nuevas emociones.

La Colección "Noir Cowboy" desempeña el papel estelar en un Lejano Oeste metropolitano de gran lujo. El color predominante es el negro, tanto brillante como mate y sus símbolos el revólver de seis tiros y el cráneo de búfalo.Las chaquetas se han confeccionado con tejidos exquisitos, también en piel embellecida y entre ellas, un deslumbrante blazer ultra-suave. El cocodrilo está presente, e incluye una exclusiva versión acabada en nobuc. El resultado es de extremo lujo en la cazadora con forro de visón. La piel de serpiente cepillada y pintada a mano. La cazadora bomber ha sido trabajada artesanalmente para que tenga una apariencia desgastada. Este efecto también puede verse en los tejanos que se unen a cartucheras de cocodrilo con hebilla de serpiente. Los abrigos largos que rozan casi al suelo son también excepcionales. Ofrecen la impresión de estar ante un duelo en el OK Corral, con hombreras pronunciadas y solapas en forma de flecha. Los abrigos también se han confeccionado en lana, con cinturas acentuadas por incrustaciones en piel y se ha prestado una atención meticulosa por el detalle. Las solapas en piel de serpiente son sorprendentes, con los bordes de piel o incrustaciones con micro-adornos en cristales de Swarovski.

Los accesorios incluyen una multitud de piezas imprescindibles, por ejemplo las botas y en particular una versión en piel abatanada con parches de cocodrilo para combinar con mochilas y bolsos en diferentes formas y medidas.

La colección contiene todo lo necesario para que las aventuras de los vaqueros contemporáneos se hagan realidad. Y la saga continúa.
